Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Department

The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.

The Job

- Support the business departments in identifying, shaping and prioritising use cases, ensuring clear business outcomes, measurable benefits and a balanced assessment of value versus delivery effort

- Contribute to the development and execution of the Club's Data strategy, translating business priorities into an actionable deployment roadmap and portfolio of initiatives

- Act as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across the Club, building long-term relationships to identify opportunities, foster collaboration and maximise cross-functional business value through Data

- Assist the Data & AI business product owners from a business perspective, driving the product lifecycle from ideation and business case development through deployment, adoption and continuous improvement

- Support the adoption programme of the assigned business solutions through stakeholder engagement, change management and capability building, ensuring sustainable business outcomes and return on investment

- Define, track and report business value realisation metrics, monitoring the impact of deployed solutions and identifying opportunities for optimisation and further value creation

- Support communication with the Governance team to ensure proposed solutions remain trusted, compliant, explainable, and have effective controls

- Support communication with Data Science, Data Platform, and IT teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions, taking into consideration data availability, quality, security, and scalability

About You

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Information System or Information Technology

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Data & AI Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related role

- Proven track record as a Data & AI Product Owner and/or Business Analyst, with successful delivery of use cases

- Experience in driving change management, stakeholder adoption, and business value realisation for Data & AI initiatives

- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing solutions, and/or relevant certifications in Data & AI technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks), is an advantage
