About the Role

Finni Health is seeking a Founding Autism Diagnostician to help build and deliver high-quality autism diagnostic services for families in New Mexico. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician to play an early, high-impact role in shaping clinical quality, diagnostic workflows, and the patient experience in a growing organization.

This role is ideal for someone excited by both clinical excellence and startup building. You will conduct autism evaluations, contribute to best practices, and help create a thoughtful, scalable approach to diagnostic care in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations for children and/or adults, depending on the population served
- Review developmental, behavioral, medical, educational, and family history
- Administer and interpret appropriate diagnostic tools and clinical assessments
- Write clear, timely, high-quality diagnostic reports
- Communicate findings and recommendations to patients, caregivers, and referring providers
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to improve clinical operations and care delivery
- Help develop and refine diagnostic protocols, documentation standards, and quality processes
- Contribute to the foundation of a high-trust, mission-driven clinical program in New Mexico

Qualifications

- Licensed psychologist, physician, or other independently qualified clinician able to perform autism diagnostic evaluations — either already licensed in New Mexico or eligible and willing to obtain NM licensure, which we will pay for. You may be based anywhere in the U.S.; this role is fully remote.
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Strong assessment, clinical interviewing, and report writing skills
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting
- Interest in helping build systems, processes, and standards from the ground up
- Excellent judgment, empathy, and communication skills
- Availability to work as a 1099 contractor

Nice to Have

- Experience in telehealth-enabled diagnostic models
- Experience serving diverse pediatric and family populations
- Familiarity with evidence-based autism assessment tools
- Prior startup or early-stage company experience

Compensation

$60 – $100 per hour, based on licensure and experience.
