Packaging Engineer
Job Overview
We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to support the development, implementation, and improvement of packaging solutions across a variety of products and projects. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure packaging solutions meet quality, performance, cost, and operational requirements.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong technical and communication skills who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve packaging solutions based on product and operational requirements.
- Support packaging design, testing, validation, and implementation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify packaging requirements and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external partners as needed.
- Analyze packaging performance, quality, cost, and efficiency.
- Support packaging-related projects from initial concept through implementation.
- Troubleshoot packaging issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Review specifications, drawings, documentation, and other technical materials.
- Assist with testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure packaging solutions align with applicable quality and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and project records.
- Support additional engineering and project activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience in packaging, manufacturing, product development, or a related engineering environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with standard engineering and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
