HJ Staffing is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for school-based assignments within Houston. In this role, you’ll be the frontline of student health, providing direct care, managing medical plans, and supporting a safe, healthy learning environment.

What You’ll Do
- Administer daily care, medications, and emergency interventions for students
- Maintain and implement Individualized Health Plans and Emergency Action Plans
- Ensure compliance with state-mandated health s creenings and immunization records
- Support public health efforts in communicable disease control and reporting
- Serve as a key liaison between students, families, school staff, and medical providers
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives on campus
- Comply with HISD and Texas regulations for school nursing
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license
- CPR/AED certification (required)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (school nurse experience is a plus)
- Must be able to pass HISD background check and onboarding requirements
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Tube feeding and Catheterization experience.
