Human Resources Assistant

Full-Time | Hourly | Flexible Schedule (30-40 Hours per week)

Taylor Community is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team! This position provides administrative support across all areas of Human Resources and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people while keeping things organized behind the scenes. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate, someone looking to start a career in Human Resources, make a career change, or someone looking for a rewarding role with a more manageable pace.

No HR experience required - we will train the right person!

What You'll Do

- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records.

- Scan, organize, and upload employee documentation into UKG.

- Assist with recruitment, job postings, applications, interviews, and hiring events.

- Support new employee onboarding and orientation.

- Assist with HR policies, job descriptions, reports, audits, and other projects.

- Respond to routine employee and applicant inquiries and provide general administrative support to the HR team.

- Provide administrative support to the VP of Human Resources and HR team as needed.

What We're Looking For

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

- Comfortable working with computers, electronic files, and data entry.

- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

- Previous HR or administrative experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person!
