A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

The   Linux   Embedded Systems Engineer helps turn validated physical automation concepts into scalable,   supportable   and production-ready solutions across   Intelcom’s   network. The role focuses on industrializing   PoCs ,   maintaining   deployed embedded solutions, supporting operational requests, and ensuring that systems already in the field remain reliable,   documented   and ready for support.

Responsibilities

•   Lead the transition of validated Proofs of Concept ( PoCs ) into production-ready solutions   establishing   architectures, standards,   tools   and deployment practices.

•   Provide technical leadership and subject matter   expertise   in embedded systems and warehouse automation technologies across Intelcom's network.

•    Maintain and evolve   scalable   IoT   systems   running   C #   appl ications   on top of the Linux Kernel via containers   (Balena OS ) ,   ensuring reliability, performance,   scalability   and   operational   efficiency.

•   Act as a technical reference and escalation point for production systems, providing troubleshooting   expertise , root cause   analysis   and guidance to internal teams.

•   Support the rollout, monitoring,   stabilization   and continuous improvement of newly deployed systems.

Qualifications

•   Bachelor's degree in   Computer Engineering   (or equivalent). 
•   Experience   developing   defensively   coded C# . N ET   applications .

•   Experience delivering production-grade software and hardware-integrated solutions. 
•   Experience transforming prototypes, pilot   projects   or   PoCs   into operationally supported products.  
• Strong   troubleshooting ,   documentation   and communication skills, with the ability t o support production systems and make pragmatic engineering decisions.

•   Experience with single-board computers, preferably Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4).

• Working experience with Agile delivery teams and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

•   Experience working with sensors, scanners, cameras, PLCs,   robotics   or other industrial technologies is considered an asset.    
• Bilingual   proficiency   in   French and English is   a must .
