Summary: Maintain and prepare 10–15 guest rooms each day with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to the highest housekeeping standards. Room attendants play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests by providing friendly, professional service, maintaining a positive image of the property, and responding to guest requests and concerns with honesty, respect, and a helpful attitude.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, hourly position offering an attractive compensation package that includes a percentage of service charges, as well as medical, dental, and vision benefits and exclusive resort discounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Make beds and change out linens/towels
Vacuum carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies
Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
Sweep and mop floors
Dust, polish furniture and equipment
Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies and bathroom items
Clean kitchen areas and dishes
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Respond promptly to requests by guests and other department managers
Observe precautions to protect guests and hotel property
Report all theft, damage and found property to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty
Assist in cleaning public areas when needed
Maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping closets and carts
Manage time to complete all assigned tasks by the end of the shift
Work as a team to ensure everything gets done daily
Organization and thoroughness
Preparing rooms in minimal length of time while respecting guest privacy
Check and flip or report mattress rotation needs
To follow all specified procedures as specified in the HDS Employee Handbook
