What You’ll Be Doing
Precision Prototype & Tooling Fabrication: Take ownership of setting up and running engine lathes, Bridgeport mills, and surface grinders to craft custom tooling and high-tolerance prototype components.
Production Operations: Skillfully configure and operate Hardinge secondary turret lathes to execute production runs with tight accuracy.
Master-Level Troubleshooting: Independently diagnose, adjust, and resolve complex machining setups and mechanical operational challenges.
Direct Leadership Access: Collaborate directly with the Machining Department Manager to streamline workflow, maintain quality standards, and meet critical project timelines.
What We’re Looking For
10+ Years of Hands-On Expertise: Deep, proven experience setting up and operating engine lathes, Bridgeport mills, surface grinders, and secondary turret lathes.
Proven Reliability: A solid, continuous record of employment and technical training in conventional machining.
Problem-Solving Autonomy: The confidence and skill to work independently from prints to finished parts without hand-holding.
Background Clearance: Must be fully prepared to complete a standard pre-employment background screening and drug panel.
Perks & Compensation
Top-Tier Hourly Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 / hour (commensurate with expertise)
Ideal Schedule: Full-time, standard day shift — Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No nights!)
