About this role
Responsibilities:
- Involve in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing of HVAC system, provision plant and other related equipment.
- Trouble shooting of defects/faults for HVAC systems, mechanical defects & pumps etc.
- Carry out general repair and maintenance jobs onboard vessels or in workshops
- Perform repair and /or replacement of mechanical spare parts
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
Requirements:
- NTC / Higher NTC in Mechanical/Electrical related field.
- Prefer min 1 to 2 years' experience in Marine or heavy industry sector
- Understanding of basic principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
- Able to carry heavy load and work at heights
- Possess basic understanding of basic components and functions of mechanical systems
- Able to read simple drawings and service reports
- Able to conduct basic communication with customers & among Team members
- Able to use IMTE tools such as Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Torque Wrench is a plus
Other Information:
- Location: Pioneer Sector (Daily t ransportion expenses reimbursable to and fro)
- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
