The Equity Compensation Consultant acts as a trusted guide to employee shareholders, delivering personalized education and support across a wide range of equity plan types—including RSUs, stock options, performance awards, SARs, and ESPPs. This role is responsible for helping participants understand, access, and maximize the value of their equity compensation as part of their broader financial wellness journey.
As part of a rapidly evolving and growing team, the consultant provides clear, compassionate, and actionable guidance to shareholders while contributing to continuous improvement of the shareholder experience. What you will do

- Serve as the primary point of contact for shareholders, providing best-in-class service through inbound phone inquiries.
- Respond to shareholder questions, resolve issues, and educate participants on their equity compensation plans.
- Demonstrate care, competence, character, and compassion in every interaction to elevate the shareholder experience.
- Connect shareholder needs to broader financial goals, offering insight and education to support overall financial wellness.
- Take ownership of resolving client issues from start to finish, coordinating with internal partners for seamless outcomes.
- Proactively address client concerns, prioritizing outbound follow-up while maintaining inbound service levels.
- Educate participants on the structure, value, and timing of equity awards, simplifying complex topics to build confidence and understanding.
- Support equity-related transactions such as account setup, ESPP enrollment, trade execution, and use of digital tools.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements (FINRA, SEC), company policies, and quality standards.
- Exhibit a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and awareness of evolving industry regulations.
- Act as a peer mentor and positive team influence, contributing to a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Embrace and adapt to changing business priorities, maintaining resilience and professionalism through shifting conditions.

What you will bring

- FINRA Series 7 and 63 required; Series 65 (or 66) required within corporate established timelines
- FINRA fingerprinting required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in equity compensation, financial services, or related roles.
- Solid understanding of equity compensation vehicles (RSUs, NSOs, ISOs, PSUs, SARs, ESPPs) and participant-level tax implications.
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP®) Level 1 required or must be completed within 6–12 months of hire.
- Strong understanding of general financial concepts and ability to connect equity education to broader financial wellness goals.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, stock plan platforms, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, remote work environments with strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Adaptable, growth-minded, and collaborative team contributor.
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or MBA, preferred
- Experience working in stock plan administration, equity plan consulting, or a financial call center with stock plan participants, preferred
