About this role
As an Activity Assistant, you have the opportunity to help meet the physical, mental, and psychological needs of our elderly population. Some responsibilities include:
- Assist in planning entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and creative events
- Visit non ambulatory residents, write letters for them, read to them
- Run Errands and assist residents on outings
- May be required to drive company vans for resident outings.
- May be required to care for facility pets, e.g., dogs, cats, fish and birds.
- Maintain documentation as required by state and federal regulations, and company policy
