Pay: Starting at $20/hr, based on experience
Potential Pay: Up to $28/hr for the right candidate
Shifts:

- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday

- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG/TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding a variety of metals and fabricating components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on metal components and assemblies.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.

- Set up and operate welding machines and fabrication equipment.

- Select appropriate welding processes, wire, filler materials, gas, and machine settings.

- Measure, cut, fit, tack, and weld components according to specifications.

- Inspect completed welds for strength, accuracy, appearance, and quality.

- Use grinders and hand/power tools to prepare and finish welded surfaces.

- Identify and correct welding defects.

- Maintain welding equipment and a clean work area.

- Follow all safety procedures and required PPE.

- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

- Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required.

- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum preferred.

- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.

- Knowledge of welding techniques and basic metal fabrication.

- Ability to use tape measures, squares, calipers, and other measuring tools.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

- Welding certification preferred but not required depending on experience.

- Must be able to pass a weld test.
