Tire & Lube Technician / Automotive Mechanic
McCarthy Tire is seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Tire & Lube Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This position focuses primarily on light-duty vehicles, including tires, oil changes, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, with occasional heavy-duty truck work.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and repairs
- Perform oil changes, fluid services, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, electrical, A/C, and other systems
- Perform wheel alignments and general automotive repairs
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair needs
- Perform heavy-duty truck service as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Provide and maintain your own tools
Requirements
- Automotive or tire/service experience preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain a state inspection license
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Heavy-duty experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-minded, and customer-focused
