Job Title: Java Backend Lead
Location: Phoenix, AZ – Day 1 Onsite, 5 Days WFO
Experience: 11+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Lead to lead backend design and development, provide technical guidance, ensure code quality, and drive successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead backend architecture, design, and development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Drive code quality, best practices, and engineering standards.
• Make technical decisions and contribute to successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and technical improvements.
Required Skills
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Vert.x, Reactive Programming, and Distributed Systems.
• Strong knowledge of System Design, OOP, and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to GCP, AWS, or Azure and cloud-native development.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Code Reviews, and Performance Tuning.
• Strong understanding of Agile, TDD/BDD, and SDLC.
• Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions.
Preferred Skills
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed application development.
