What You’ll Do
- Build and refine front-end UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks when applicable
- Translate Figma designs, wireframes, or product requirements into responsive user interfaces
- Help improve consistency across buttons, forms, navigation, layouts, and other UI patterns
- Support UX improvements by identifying confusing flows, layout issues, accessibility gaps, or usability friction
- Work with designers and developers to turn visual concepts into reusable, production-ready components
- Document UI patterns, component usage, and front-end decisions so teams can work more consistently
- Test interfaces across screen sizes and browsers to ensure a polished user experience
- Participate in design reviews, product discussions, and front-end implementation planning
- Learn and apply accessibility, responsive design, and design system best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Current student studying Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Interaction Design, Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field
- Interest in both UX/product design and front-end development
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools
- Interest in reusable UI components, design systems, accessibility, and responsive design
- Ability to think critically about user experience, not just visual appearance
- Portfolio, class project, or personal project showing implemented web interfaces
- Clear communicator who is comfortable working with both design and engineering stakeholders
What Success Looks Like
By the end of the internship, this person will have contributed to real front-end UI work, helped improve the consistency and usability of our product experience, and built a stronger understanding of how UX, design systems, and engineering come together in a modern product team.
