What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Branch Manager, who will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a servant heart to our team of top-tier mortgage professionals. This professional will work in a tight-knit, goal-oriented team where our Customers and Referral Partners can rely on them to ensure an accurate and timely closing process. The Licensed Loan Officers primary function is the promotion and sale of Company loan products and services to potential customers.
What you'll do:
Develop relationships with external Loan Originators (Recruitment)
Strong leadership skills – Manage a team of Loan Originators
Support Loan Originators with motivation, training, and coaching
Market, promote, and sell the Companys loan products
Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources
Advise potential customers of available products and options
Take customer loan applications, which includes collecting asset/income information
Analyze financial information to determine customers qualification for various loan products
Negotiate rates and terms
Define and manage customer loan process expectations
Monitor and manage work-flow to ensure timely loan closing
Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on changes to market conditions
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to residential mortgage lending
What youll need to be successful:
Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude. In addition, youll need the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry with a clear understanding of the residential mortgage loan process from application through fulfillment
Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role preferred
Must be appropriately licensed (or be able to gain license within 60 days of start date) by the applicable regulator in each state in which he/she does licensee activities
Excellent communication skills required
Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills required
