- 1 st Shift: Mondays-Thursdays 5:00am-3:00pm

- 2 nd Shift: Mondays-Thursdays 3:00pm-1:00am

The Team: 
This position is a part of the engineering and support management teams. This position works with and supports all co-workers and teams within the production process.

The Role: 
This position works with production equipment to perform corrective and preventative maintenance for better equipment operation and process flow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

- Performs corrective maintenance and repairing on equipment used in the electronic industry

- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders assigned on equipment used in the electronic industry

- Ability to understand and use work instructions, manufacturing instructions, and equipment manuals to troubleshoot and resolves equipment issues

- Assists Production Machine Operators in troubleshooting equipment problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements

- Assist with production machine start-up/shut-down as needed

- Participates in continuous improvement activities

- Complies and follows all company safety policies and procedures

- Operates production equipment when production is short-staffed

- Be a mentor for production operators

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications include but not limited to:

- Experience working in manufacturing required

- Electro-mechanical background preferred

- 2-year Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Working knowledge of productivity tools, examples may include Microsoft Office and quality management software

- Must demonstrate mechanical competency

- Ability to use hand/power tools

- Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment.  Uses professional and respectful communication with others

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Effective organization and prioritization skills

- Demonstrate high attention to detail

- Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools

- The ability to work extended hours and weekends on a rotating schedule if needed

- Ability to pass standard position assessment within 90 days of employment

- Military experience in electronic installation/repair, mechanical repair, and facility maintenance a plus

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Frequent standing, bending and reaching

Travel:

- Limited travel between all RIS facilities

- Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required

Work Environment:

- Manufacturing production floor
