Work Location:             Jefferson County Educational Service Center R. Larry George Training Annex

Salary:                             $15 per hour

Employment Date:        25-26 School Year

Contract:                         up to 29 hours per week

Qualifications and Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Valid driver’s license

- Must pass a BCI/FBI background check

- Strong keyboarding skills; able to work efficiently with multiple monitors

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail)

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including core applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat for PDF management

- Working knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver for basic web design and development tasks

- Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to compose professional emails to parents, students, and staff

- Highly organized with effective time management skills

- Willingness to learn and pursue continued education/training

- Understanding of ethics and confidentiality in an educational setting

- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs without assistance

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Specific Duties:

- Check and update Microsoft Teams calendars and shared spreadsheets

- Create and support interactive educational content

- Enter questions and answers into an online Learning Management System (LMS)

- Print, copy, bind, and prepare paper-based learning materials

- Organize digital and physical files for ease of access and review

- Assist with setup and teardown at conferences and trade shows

- Support and co-host virtual webinars as needed

- Draft and send professional communications to parents, students, and educators

- Engage in professional development and stay up to date on new trends and tools

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or their designee
