About this role

What We Expect : • 0–2 years of experience in C++ development (freshers with strong fundamentals and relevant academic/personal projects are welcome to apply). • Solid grasp of core C++ (C++11/14/17) concepts — OOP , STL, memory management, and pointers. • Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their time/space complexity. • Exposure to or willingness to learn multithreading and concurrency fundamentals. • Familiarity with, or genuine interest in learning, Qt for building desktop applications. • Basic awareness of networking concepts (TCP/IP); interest in learning protocols like FIX on the job. • Comfortable working in a Linux environment and using Git for version control. • Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a habit of writing clean, readable code. • A genuine curiosity about trading systems and eagerness to learn from senior engineers.
What You Will Do : • Work closely with senior engineers to develop and maintain modules within our C++ trading applications. • Assist in building and testing components for market data handling and order processing under guidance. • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following the team's coding standards. • Debug issues, fix bugs, and support root-cause analysis in existing modules with mentorship. • Gradually take on tasks involving exchange connectivity and FIX protocol integration as you grow. • Participate actively in code reviews to learn best practices in performance-oriented coding. • Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality releases. • Continuously upskill in low-latency systems design, profiling, and optimization techniques.
Must-Have Skills : • Strong fundamentals in C++ (C++11/14/17). • Good understanding of OOP principles, data structures, and algorithms. • Basic knowledge of multithreading and concurrency concepts. • Willingness to learn and work with the Qt framework. • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills : • Internship, academic, or personal project experience involving C++. • Basic exposure to Qt or any GUI framework. • Awareness of networking protocols and interprocess communication concepts. • Interest in fintech, trading systems, or high-performance computing. • Contributions to personal, academic, or open-source C++ projects.
