Chase City Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) . This key leadership position works closely with the Director of Nursing to support clinical excellence, develop nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote exceptional resident outcomes.
Position Summary
- The Assistant Director of Nursing collaborates with the Director of Nursing to maximize the performance and satisfaction of the nursing department and foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct clinical rounds and evaluate resident care needs.
- Supervise, coach, evaluate, recruit, hire, and onboard nursing staff.
- Coordinate orientation, staff education, QAPI, and infection prevention activities.
- Investigate incidents and concerns in accordance with regulations.
- Review staffing, medication records, treatment records, and care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, residents, and families.
- Assume DON responsibilities in the DONs absence.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Current Virginia RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Previous long-term care leadership experience preferred.
