WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Lead Cook , you will play an important role in the daily operation of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and instructing inmate workers in the kitchen
- Assisting with daily meal preparation
- Preparing, baking, and cooking food
- Reading and following company recipes and procedures
- Helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Assisting with kitchen clean-up
- Working successfully within a structured correctional environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work varying days and hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Ability to successfully obtain clearance to enter the facility
Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are happy to train the right person!
