Job Summary/Overview

The Land Development Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing land development project documentation, invoice processing, budgets, forecasting the financial performance of land development projects on a monthly basis, contract modifications and permitting agency routine notifications. This position will also provide key administrative support to ensure the efficient flow of critical documents and financial information to direct supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Update project contracts with applicable project specific information, distribute and follow-through to completion
Upload final contract budgets to project tracking sheets and payment processing application
Receive, review, code and upload approved invoices to payment processing application
Prepare monthly project related financial reports and maintain budgets for assigned projects
Effectively communicate to upper management the financial status of projects
Monitor Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD-WMIS) scheduled maintenance inspections, uploading of required documentation to WMIS and updating of tracking workbook
Maintain organized electronic filing of project documents and tracking any requirements to completion
Provide general administrative support as needed to upper management
Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with organizational needs

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2+ year of Land Development or related field experience required

Skills and Knowledge:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel is required
General knowledge of the construction process is preferred
Proficiency in Sage/SCM or related invoicing processing software essential
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple complex situations simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Well organized, ability to manage multiple priorities, efficient
Ability to read, write and comprehend English fluently with strong verbal and written communication abilities
Good customer service skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
