Massage Therapist - Per Diem

Beloit Health System is looking to add a Per Diem Massage Therapist to our Team at NorthPointe!

- Shift: Varied

- Schedule: 1:30pm - 10pm (primarily)

- Hours per week: Varied - Per Diem

- Benefits Status: Not Eligible

- Department: NorthPointe Spa

The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services and body wraps to promote relaxation, reduce pain and stress, improve circulation, and support overall wellness.

- Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments and body wraps tailored to individual patient and client needs.

- Conduct client assessments and review health histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.

- Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and other approved modalities within scope of practice.

- Document treatment plans, patient progress, and services provided in accordance with hospital policies.

- Educate patients and clients on self-care practices, stretching, wellness, and stress management techniques.

- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and sanitary condition.

- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, privacy, and professional practice standards.

- Monitor patient response during treatment and modify techniques as appropriate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program.

- Current Illinois state licensure as a Massage Therapist

- Excellent hands-on therapeutic massage skills.

- Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with patients and clients.

- Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.

- Professionalism, empathy, and compassion.

- CPR certification within 90 days of hire

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and therapeutic massage techniques.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.
