Join our team at The Resort at Longboat Key Club as a full-time Banquet Set-up team member. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating exceptional event experiences by preparing and arranging banquet spaces to the highest standards, ensuring our guests enjoy flawless service in an elegant setting.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
- Assist with the timely and efficient setup and breakdown of banquet events.
- Collaborate with the banquet and culinary teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas and storage.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to event needs and requests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in banquet or event setup preferred but not required.
- Ability to life and carry heavy items and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
