About this role
Capital Hauling is seeking experienced dump truck drivers in the Jefferson City area. Successful candidates should have a clean driving record. Some prior experience driving in a construction setting is desirable. This position will work some Saturdays as needed and occasional overnight stays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate regularly with dispatcher
- Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Driver will be assigned loads, report as directed to job site, and complete a work order daily for that job
- Driver is expected to perform daily truck maintenance and inspections
- Maintain truck logs or time recordings
- Other duties as assigned .
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL Class A
- Clean driving records
- Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
- Previous experience driving a dump truck
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact at all levels
- Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
- Willing to travel/work out of town
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
