What You Will Do:
As a Gas Supply Analyst, you will play an essential role within our Gas Supply department, reporting to the Gas Supply Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor, analyze, and maintain systems used to track gas demand and gas supply market conditions.
- Support gas forecasting, nominations, and Gas Day/Gas Hour planning activities.
- Assist in developing and maintaining short-term and long-term gas supply, storage, and transportation plans.
- Maintain gas supply and storage contract records and support contract administration activities.
- Monitor industry developments, including Cook Inlet gas market activity, pipeline tariffs, regulatory filings, and proceedings.
- Support development of training materials and procedures related to gas forecasting and gas purchasing.
- Provide analytical support to Regulatory and Accounting teams.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders such as gas producers, pipeline operators, and utilities.
- Support transportation customers and assist with monitoring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
What You Will Bring:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional MS Office skills, specifically MS Excel.
- Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of various personal computer business software applications presently used by ENSTAR. Ability to learn new systems or software packages as necessary.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Must maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective interactions and communications with co-workers, customers and management.
- Must maintain a safe environment for co-workers, customers and the public through adherence to established safety standards and timely reporting of potential hazards.
- Must adhere to ENSTAR's policies and procedures related to the code of business ethics, compliance, responsible use of assets, and all applicable state and federal laws.
