Junior Officer

Manage day-to-day Raw Material Store operations, including inward, storage, issue and stock control.
Receive raw materials against PO, delivery challan and invoice and verify quantity, specifications and packaging condition.
Coordinate with Quality/QA for inspection, approval, rejection and quarantine of incoming materials.
Prepare and maintain GRN/MRN and ensure timely ERP/SAP entries.
Ensure proper material identification, coding, labeling, bin allocation and traceability.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable and ensure proper shelf-life/batch control.
Issue raw materials to Production against authorized Material Requisition / BOM / Production Requirement.
Maintain accurate bin-wise, batch-wise and item-wise inventory records.
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation with ERP.
Investigate and resolve stock shortages, excesses, damages and system-vs-physical discrepancies.
Monitor minimum, maximum, reorder and safety stock levels and highlight potential stock-outs.
Track slow-moving, non-moving, excess and obsolete inventory and recommend corrective action.
Coordinate closely with Purchase, Production, PPC, Quality, Accounts and Maintenance for uninterrupted material availability.
Maintain complete documentation for all inward, outward, transfer, return and adjustment transactions.
Prepare daily stock, consumption, ageing, shortage and inventory reconciliation reports.
Support monthly/annual physical inventory, internal audits and external/customer audits.
Ensure proper 5S, housekeeping, safety, stacking and material preservation within the store.
Supervise Store Assistants/Storekeepers and allocate daily activities.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality systems, safety requirements and inventory-control procedures.

Strong knowledge of Raw Material Store & Inventory Management
SAP/ERP – preferably SAP MM
GRN/MRN, material issue, stock transfer and inventory transactions
FIFO/FEFO, batch/lot traceability and stock ageing
Physical stock verification and reconciliation
Min/Max stock, reorder level and safety stock
MS Excel & MIS reporting
