🎯 Job Purpose
The Generator Technician Apprentice is a hybrid position designed to develop the skills required to become both a highly qualified Generator Technician and a licensed Journeyman Electrician. This role combines hands-on generator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair with residential electrical apprenticeship training under the supervision of licensed electricians and experienced generator technicians. This position provides a clear career pathway toward becoming a licensed Journeyman Electrician while building specialized expertise in generator systems and backup power solutions.

🎓 Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Mechanical aptitude, interest in electrical systems and generators, ability to use tools safely, communication skills, and desire to pursue Journeyman Electrician licensure.
🧭 Working Conditions
Work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders, use tools, lift up to 80 pounds, travel to job sites, and wear required PPE.
