Position Type: Part-time or PRN

Hiring Range: ($20.00 - $24.00/hr) plus evening/nights/weekend shift differentials, and an RMA shift differential ($1/hr)

Shifts Available
Part-Time: 3-11pm
PRN: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11am, 11pm-7am, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am

Please note: This is a combo position for a candidate with both CNA and RMA certification. When working as an RMA per the schedule, an RMA shift differential will apply on top of any evening, night, and/or weekend shift differentials.

Earn a competitive hourly rate based on years of experience, plus applicable shift differentials.

Additional compensation includes:

- Hourly employees:

1.5x Holiday Pay

- 1.5x Overtime Pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week

- Full-time employees:

Generous PTO beginning with a maximum of 104 hours annually

Medication Aide Responsibilities

- Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately in the MAR.

- Observe and report changes in resident condition, medication effectiveness, adverse reactions, or refusals.

- Monitor vital signs and other health indicators as required for medication administration.

- Maintain medication carts and storage areas in compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, families, and pharmacy providers.

- Assist with medication inventory, counts, and refill coordination.

- Ensure compliance with all medication safety, infection control, and resident care standards.

Qualifications

- Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

- Current Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification required.

- Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.

- Strong documentation, communication, and resident care skills.
