Fixed Asset Register & Valuation Senior Consultant - 1-Year Engagement

Location: Amman, Jordan.
Project Duration: 1 year.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a Fixed Asset Register & Valuation Senior Consultant for a 1-year engagement in Jordan. The role will focus on Fixed Asset Register (FAR) development, fixed asset data management and governance, and IFRS-based asset valuation and reconciliation across public infrastructure assets. The successful candidate will bring relevant expertise in infrastructure and real estate assets, with a strong understanding of applicable IFRS requirements.

Key Requirements

- Demonstrated expertise in Fixed Asset Register (FAR) development and fixed asset data management.

- Experience developing or working with asset data governance frameworks .

- Experience in infrastructure and real estate asset valuation .

- Demonstrated experience in IFRS-based asset valuation and reconciliation .

- Strong knowledge and practical experience with:

IAS 16 – Property, Plant and Equipment

- IAS 40 – Investment Property

- Experience working with governmental asset management projects.

Other Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with asset data and valuation information.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development and enhancement of Fixed Asset Registers for public infrastructure assets.

- Support the management, organization, and governance of fixed asset data.

- Develop and apply appropriate asset data governance frameworks .

- Support the valuation of infrastructure and real estate assets .

- Perform and support IFRS-based asset valuation and reconciliation activities.

- Apply relevant requirements under IAS 16 and IAS 40 to asset-related activities.

- Review and reconcile fixed asset information to support the completeness and consistency of asset records.

- Support asset management activities for public-sector infrastructure environments.

- Coordinate with relevant project stakeholders on fixed asset data, valuation, and reconciliation activities.
