About this role

The Finance Manager will:

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, general ledger review and compliance with Group accounting policies.

- Closely monitor ARAP & prepayments for all trading entities and follow up with traders for the collection status.

- Prepare timely, accurate and reliable financial information, management reports and FP&A with detailed analysis for the Financial Controller and senior management.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for trading entities, and provide commentary on business performance, margins, overheads and working capital.

- Support monthly performance review by analyzing actual results against budget and forecast, highlighting key risks, opportunities and financial drivers.

- Review internal controls, identify accounting and financial issues, assess potential impact, and provide recommendations to senior

- Assist the Financial Controller with statutory audit, tax filing and transfer pricing matters involving external parties.

- Lead and drive finance operations process improvement and system implementation projects. Communicate project progress and results to management and supervisors effectively and on time.

- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Education, Experience and Skills:

·       Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline with CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.

·       Minimum 8 years of related experience

·       Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.

·       Industry exposure in commodities trading is an advantage

·       Sound knowledge of consolidation, the latest accounting standards, and taxation reporting requirements in Hong Kong and overseas offices such as Singapore and Dubai.

·       Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 accounts modules, including AR, AP and GL, and cloud-based ERP systems.

·       Experience in system enhancement projects.

·       Oracle functional experience in report design and report generation.

·       Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPivot, PowerApps and Co-pilot.

·       Knowledge and experience in supporting ERP systems, such as Oracle, Excel4Wands and cloud-based systems.

·       Proactive, organized and detail-oriented, with strong reporting and presentation skills.

·       Good command of spoken and written English

·       Mature, independent and analytical, with the ability to work under pressure.

·       Strong team player with a positive attitude.

·       Good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility.

·       Open to working in a multicultural environment.
