Location: Gdynia, Gdańsk (preferred) or Warsaw, Łódź (Hybrid - 25% remote)

Rate: Up to 170 PLN/h net

Contract Type: B2B agreement (Contracting party: Optiveum)

About the Project

For our Client in the banking industry , we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer . You will be joining a project focused on building a new API Management platform to enable fast-to-market integrations within the bank and with external partners.

The team will also be building a new Portal for the API catalogue, which will require infrastructure setup, container deployment, Kubernetes management, and robust pipeline creation.

Your Responsibilities

- Automating the provisioning of infrastructure (such as EKS) for API gateways using Terraform.
- Setting up and improving monitoring, logging, and metrics systems.
- Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to update APIs and configuration changes.
- Managing container deployments and Kubernetes environments.
- Building and maintaining the environment for the Kong Gateway project, including infrastructure provisioning and migration.

Requirements

- Experience level: Senior
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes .
- Strong experience with Terraform and AWS .
- Solid knowledge of Ansible .
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana , Prometheus / Victoria Metrics (or similar), and Splunk .
- Fluent English is required.

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with Kong Gateway or other API gateway implementations.
