Job Posting – Production Employee
What you can look forward to as a Workshop Technician
- Dismantle, inspect and reassemble transmissions, axles and final drive assemblies in accordance with pre-determined work instructions and specifications.
- Use inspection measuring and test equipment to determine component conformity and ensure product quality
- Work on own initiative and as part of a team to solve work related technical problems
- Use IT equipment to extract and record technical and logistical information including the creation of inspection reports and identification of required parts
- Accountable for the correct and safe usage of tooling and equipment.
- Help promote the behaviors identified within the Companies culture.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the operations department
- To undertake any other ad hoc duties within the operations function to support the effective running of the department.
Your profile as a Workshop Technician
- NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering
- Experience of working within a mechanical engineering industry
- Proven problem solver
- IT literate
