Job Description:
As a Field Service Engineer within the National Service Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality field based technical expertise at customers sites across the country. You will be responsible for calibration and Sensitivity Testing Loma equipment on customers sites.
Responsibilities:
- ## To carry out service, calibration and sensitivity testing of customer's inline inspection equipment to the stated processes and procedures.
- ## Handle on site customer queries in a fair and courteous manner.
- ## Must be prepared to adapt to all types of environments and comply with local client's health and safety regulations.
- ## Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the company procedures.
- ## Expected to co-operate by working overtime as and when required.
- ## To be part of the on-call standby rota system as required.
- ## Must be prepared to learn a diverse set of products and continually improve your product knowledge.
Requirements:
Essential
- ## Good Technical Electrical / Electronics skills.
- ## Minimum BTEC/ONC/HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical / electrical engineering.
- ## Ideally experience in a field service role and familiar with all aspects of customer service.
- ## Good PC literacy.
- ## Good Organisation skills orientated around reliably delivering what is promised.
- ## Good methodical approach to problem solving.
- ## Full current driving licence.
- ## Good communication skills.
- ## Good customer service skills.
