About this role

Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily lifting operations ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational protocols.

- Develop and implement effective lifting plans considering load characteristics, environmental conditions, and resource availability.

- Conduct risk assessments and safety checks prior to lifting activities, ensuring all safety standards are met or exceeded.

- Manage, mentor, and train lifting teams to maintain high performance, safety awareness, and professional growth.

- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to optimize lifting processes and equipment usage.

- Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, incidents, and inspections, reporting to senior management as required.

- Ensure proper maintenance and inspection schedules for all lifting equipment are followed in compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of safety policies, procedures, and training programs related to lifting operations.

- Respond promptly to operational issues, troubleshooting challenges to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules.

Requirements

- Proven experience in supervising lifting operations, preferably within the marine or heavy industry sector.

- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and relevant safety standards (e.g., Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, local maritime safety guidelines).

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and enforce compliance with safety protocols.

- Good organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

- Familiarity with marine logistics and operations is highly advantageous.

- Relevant certifications in lifting operations supervision or safety management are preferred.

- Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)

- 5 days work week

- Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
