About this role
Responsibilities:
- Effectively work with suppliers to negotiate optimal terms for sourcing. Understand the trade-offs between cost, volume, and quality in order to meet the requirement and secure long term supply continuity.
- Assess and mitigate risks to the business. Manage global supply chain disruptions and ensure continuous supply of material.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of value-added manufacturing processes and costs.
- Develop a capacity plan that meets Sales forecast.
- Work with the Contract manufacturers, provide forecast to them and ensure quality and timely delivery of the product.
- Conduct onsite audit of Suppliers/Contract manufacturers as per Standard.
- Maintain COGS for all products and track them against each production order.
- Investigate and take appropriate action in case of any process deviation, non-compliance, market complaints, Product failures, product recalls.
- Take ownerships of implementation of the SOPs as per ISO 13485, drive changes to the SOPs to meet the current processes.
- Ensure all procurement records are maintained as per the compliance.
- ERP adoption.
Requirement:
- 6+ years in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management, preferably in manufacturing or medical devices.
- Graduation in any discipline; MBA or relevant degree preferred.
- Strong supplier negotiation, contract management, and sourcing strategy skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and COGS tracking.
- Proficient in Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
