Android Developer (Native)

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer (Native) with around 5 years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, APIs, and modern Android architecture .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build scalable, responsive, and high-performance mobile applications.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose and/or XML layouts .
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, payment gateways, and backend services .
- Implement application architecture using MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns .
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and security.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Perform unit testing and UI testing and participate in code reviews.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams .
- Manage application builds, releases, and deployments through the Google Play Console .
- Stay updated with the latest Android versions, libraries, frameworks, and development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional experience in native Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good knowledge of Java.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and Android application lifecycle .
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, XML, Material Design, and responsive UI development .
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit/OkHttp, and asynchronous programming .
- Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and design patterns .
- Experience with Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, or similar reactive programming concepts .
- Hands-on experience with Room/SQLite, Firebase, Push Notifications, and authentication .
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub/GitLab and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with debugging and performance optimization using Android Studio profiling tools.
- Experience with Google Play Store submission and release management .
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
