Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

In deal valuation at PwC, you will focus on providing analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. You will help clients make informed decisions by assessing the worth and potential risks of various deals.

Major Responsibilities:

- As an intern you will have a chance to work within the different service lines of advisory practice

- You will be responsible for analyzing market as well as client’s information to help the PwC professional team to make decision. At the end of the day you will become an expert of financial markets and e-platforms such as Bloomberg

- You will acquire knowledge in market analysis and research on different industries

- You will use your technical skills in excel and power point   on a daily basis   by supporting projects and by interaction with our professional team.

- You will have an opportunity to participate in meetings with clients

- You will improve your communication and presentation skills through preparation of the delivering materials to the clients

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The ideal candidates have:

- An undergraduate/graduate   degree  from   top university with major in finance, accounting,   economics, math and statistics   with average grade (GPA) of at   least 3.5

- International certificates, including CFA, ACCA or CIMA will be a plus

- Strong command of spoken and written Russian and English (ability to express your thoughts clearly in Kazakh language is an asset)

- Proficient   PC knowledge, Word, Excel, Power Point

- Strong analytic and good problem structuring skills

- Willingness to undertake new and challenging tasks

- Strong communication and team working skills

- Any relevant experie nce/background is good but not required
