About this role

Job Description:

The Set-Up Technician supports the production   needs of the operation   by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines   with   assistance   and/or direction from management or qualified associates.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00-11:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities

- Set-up,   operate , and   maintain   equipment   as needed to support operations
- Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment   with direction from management or qualified associates
- Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
- Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers , in both   written and verbal   forms
- D ocumentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
- Organizing and   maintaining   the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage   areas   and   the   d epartment as a whole
- Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need

Education , Skills,   and Experience :

- High School   Diploma or equivalent r equired
- Previous   manufacturing experience preferred
- Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
- Established ability to   identify   and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
- Great   attention to detail   is   required
- Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
- Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
- Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Forklift certification
