About this role

Essential Job Functions:

- Process third-party and intercompany supplier invoices in the ERP system, including the management of electronic invoices through the Government Invoice Portal (download, validation, and upload activities)

- Monitor and maintain accurate accounts payable records, ensuring timely reconciliation and follow-up of outstanding balances

- Perform bank and cash transaction postings, ensuring accurate allocation to the appropriate Business Units and supporting the integrity of month-end financial reporting

- Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders through FlowForma and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), including the issuance of purchase orders to suppliers

- Record and process Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expenses in compliance with company policies and accounting standards

- Support quarterly SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance activities by assisting with control testing and documentation requirements

- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and accrual postings

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve invoice, payment, and procurement-related queries in a timely manner

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs

- Ability to respect deadlines

- High attention to details

- Comfortable in a dynamic environment

- Ability to function as a team player

- Strong IT skills

- Experience with Navision ERP is desirable

Education and Experience:

- Previous experience (3-5 years) as Accountant in an International environment

- Italian language knowledge is a plus
