About this role
Purpose of the Job: To assist in the lab and service and management of various plants in Secunda
Required outputs: Functional
- Assist service specialist with Site Servicing (sample taking, deliveries, inventory control, monitoring, compile weekly service and monthly reports when required)
- Responsible for assisting with lab test work and will be standby when Lab analyst is on leave
- Assist with placing of orders for lab reagents and/or chemicals and that correct stock levels are maintained
- Ensure housekeeping and Safety on both in the Lab and on sites are always up to AECI standards
- Comply to all safety rules, ensure all risk assessments and safe work procedures are in place
- Ensure that we are EHS compliant (as per SHE plan) and that housekeeping is in order
Requirements
Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
- Matric (Science and Maths)
- National Diploma (minimum) - Chemical Engineering
- Expertise related to Water Treatment
- Valid Driver’s License
