About this role

- Developing and maintaining Python-based applications and data processing solutions

- Working with complex datasets using Python, NumPy and pandas

- Analysing data across pipelines and identifying and resolving data quality issues

- Investigating data inconsistencies, anomalies and issues across different stages of data processing

- Working with PostgreSQL databases and data-driven applications

- Improving existing data pipelines, processes and engineering solutions

- Troubleshooting application and data-related issues

- Collaborating with engineering teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions

- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on Python development skills

- Strong experience with Python, including NumPy and pandas

- Strong data analytics skills, particularly in identifying and resolving data quality issues across pipelines

- Experience working with data pipelines and data processing

- Practical experience with PostgreSQL

- Experience using AI coding tools or coding agents as part of the software development workflow

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good understanding of software engineering principles and development practices

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
