Title: Quality Technician
Compensation: $21.20 per hour
Shift/Working Hours: 1st Shift Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
About the role: PrideStaff is partnering with a local food manufacturing facility to hire a Quality Technician. This role ensures all food products, raw materials, and packaging meet strict safety and quality standards before reaching consumers.
What you will do:
Inspect raw materials, packaging, and finished products for defects, weight accuracy, and contamination risks.
Monitor plant compliance with HACCP, FDA, and USDA safety regulations, halting production lines if serious safety hazards occur.
Swab equipment for sanitization checks, calibrate testing tools, and log test results and safety reports.

High school diploma or GED with 1 to 2 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in food manufacturing.
Strong attention to detail for identifying packaging, labeling, and facility cleanliness issues.
Basic technical and lab skills, including experience with data entry, MS Office, and clear communication.
