Machine Operator – 12-Hour Shift - $21.57/hr.
Hours of Work : 12 rotating between night/day
PrideStaff is recruiting for a Machine Operator for a local manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated team player that only wants to work 14 days a month!!
Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for using pallet jacks and lifts to safely load yarn packages into creel positions. Responsible for identifying yarn types and ensuring the correct type is being used. Must prepare yarn packages by pulling and combing tails, hanging tails in tail hooks and using aspirator hoses to clean off packages. Places end caps on packages. Tasked with splicing packages together in a manner which will lead to a good transfer. Transports samples to the control room. Scans ticket labels in the creels. Threads yarn tensioners if platform compensators are in use. Keeps area clean by sweeping floors in and around creel rows. Assists with pressure washing the belt and or drum when needed. Responds to creel alerts and scans sub-quality packages into database. Conducts product changes. Helps start fleecing platforms. Stacks pallets and boards in designated 5S areas.
Qualifications and Requirements :
High School diploma or equivalent Good communication skills Good organizational skills Attention to detail and having the ability to manage multiple tasks/time
