About this role
Responsibilities
- Provides technical and laboratory service support for existing products and solutions across all stages of development.
- Designs and executes proof-of-concept studies for new products and R&D initiatives.
- Conducts laboratory, field, and customer trials, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation of results.
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborates closely with Technical Services, Commercialization Management, Regional Sales, and Key Account teams to support the technical conversion of sales opportunities.
- Delivers training to Sales teams, channel partners, and new Technical Services team members on product applications and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Food Engineering or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role or in product development within the food industry (B2B experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of the food ingredient market; experience in powder processing is an advantage.
- Proven ability to design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and translate results from lab, field, and customer trials into actionable recommendations.
- Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently while fostering collaboration.
- Experience in technical leadership positions preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid project management skills, including planning and documentation.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% as required.
