What Drives You? VDOT's Employee Development & Growth Experience (EDGE) Program is a 15–24 month engineer development program that provides engineering graduates with learning opportunities that expose them to the full spectrum of engineering roles within VDOT, igniting their potential for growth and development. Our program provides on-the-job rotational experiences designed to provide a unique understanding of the interconnectivity and functionality of engineering roles and business responsibilities while continuing to develop their technical skillset and behavioral competencies.
These are full-time classified positions with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. After successful completion of the program, EDGE associates are placed into available classified positions that most closely align with their career objectives and agency business need.
Financial consideration may be available to new hires who secure their EIT designation prior to their official start date.
