PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support projects that strengthen supply and demand planning processes, including best practices, KPIs, procedures, and work instructions.
- Create and update AX system work instructions, assist with training efforts, and help improve the flow of materials and information across the supply chain.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to maintain planning applications through data validation, system updates, report generation, and business analysis.
- Analyze ERP data, including materials, inventory, forecasts, work orders, and production information, to develop reports and recommendations that enhance supply chain performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and optimizing planning and material utilization processes.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities, including data gathering, demand analysis, fulfillment measurement, and cross-functional integration efforts.
- Gain exposure to key areas of the KENT supply chain by supporting projects related to procurement, transportation, contract administration, ERP systems, and inventory management.
- Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety by following, communicating, and supporting safety policies and practices across all work environments.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working towards a degree in Supply Chain Management, related Business or Engineering Degree
- A data-driven approach to problem solving
- Word, Excel and Access skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be able to analyze data and draw conclusions for follow-up reporting
