Production and Packaging Associate
Location: Arden, NC
Pay: $21.20 / hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Enjoy 3-day weekends!)
The Role
The Production & Packaging Associate is responsible for safely producing, packaging, palletizing, and preparing salt products for shipment. This is a crucial, hands-on role performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will play a key part in maintaining high quality and safety standards while moving materials and ensuring smooth daily operations.
What You Will Be Doing
Operate production and packaging equipment to fill, seal, label, and package salt products accurately.
Stack finished products onto pallets according to specifications and move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using pallet jacks and carts.
Inspect products for defects, report equipment issues, assist with machine changeovers, and support routine sanitation and preventative maintenance.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and strict company safety guidelines.
What You Will Bring
Ability to safely perform heavy work, including frequently lifting/carrying 50–60 lbs independently, pushing/pulling heavy loads, and standing or walking for a 10-hour shift.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, a positive attitude, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality.
High school diploma/GED and prior manufacturing, warehouse, or food production experience are preferred, but not required —they are willing to train the right person!
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $21.20 Per Hour
