Description

A Brokerage/3PL Sales Representative will drive new business growth through Call prospecting and acquiring new brokerage clients. The position is an inside business development sales role. The role has monthly sales goals that support the overall brokerage in meeting KPI’s and monthly goals. TLD offers the unique stability of an asset-based powerhouse combined with the 3PL brokerage services.

Non-Exempt + Commission

TLD Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Identify and prospect new clients primarily via outbound calls.

· Maintain a pipeline of business/clients

· Driving new Business Development

· Maintain and strengthen relationships with decision makers

· Self-motivated, self-management and self-accountability

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Collaborating with team members

· Results driven

· Achieving sales targets

· Ability to negotiate contractual rates to win new business

· Use market knowledge/trends to understand customer needs and uncover opportunities

· Ability to tailor 3PL solutions to clients

· Prepare/present sales presentations/proposals/ and business reviews

Working conditions

· Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Working conditions cover a range of circumstances from weekdays, evening, and weekends.

Requirements

· Associate degree or above

· Minimum 2 years previous sales experience in logistics/transportation

· Understand brokerage/3PL and service lines

· Competency in Microsoft Office applications

· Excellent geographical knowledge

· Professional, organizational, verbal, and written skills

· Ability to negotiate and multi-task and detail oriented

Salary Description
$21.64-$23.08 hourly ($45,000-$48,000 annually)
