What You will Do:

- Provide Software Quality Assurance/Control as per DO-178 B/C to the Software projects.
- Awareness and compliance as per DO330, DO331 to the Software projects.
- Develop/Maintain Quality Assurance plan for the projects
- Perform stage gate reviews, Sample review, thread audit, Process audits on all the deliverables and complete conformity checks.
- Performing test environment audit before the formal testing activities begin
- Support SOI audits, Customer audits, as and when required
- Member of CCB/DCCB meetings and approve the release of different lifecycle artefacts
- Support the Quality Management System to meet the requirements of AS9100D by performing Internal Process Audit and other Quality audits
- Providing support to the development teams for methods and tools use
- Proposing Continuous improvements in the project
- Verifying the consistency, the completeness and accuracy of the quality documents of the software and hardware
- Perform supplier audit if the work has been outsourced to any other supplier

How You Will Get Here:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Direct experience specifically in DO 178/DO 330/DO 331 driven environments and several years in leadership or technical management roles.
- Proven experience in engineering management with a strong track record of achieving quality and performance goals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in driving process improvements and risk management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
